First Step.

Someone once said "Greater than the will to win, is the courage to begin." That first step towards our goals can sometimes be the scariest prospect for us. Fear and doubt bombard our mind and thoughts and we stay exactly where we are because it's safe. We are confused because we have so many things running around in our mind that we literally don't know what that first step to our goal is? We can't see it because we are too focused on the fear that stops us from taking that first step.

Stop focusing on your fear. Start focusing on your goal. Fear can not do anything but allow you to stop yourself. Focusing on the goals you want to achieve allows us to see the pathways that will lead us to our success. Once our pathways are revealed before us, it's easier to take that first step because now we have a more direct few of where we are going. As oppose to fear which stops us because of the unknown.

If you want to achieve something in life the first step is always and will always be the most important thing you will do towards your achievement. So don't let fear hold you back. See the goal, and every time fear tries to sneak in and take over, have an affirmation that empowers you. One that reminds you that you are faith filled and completely awesome. Something that reminds you that you will not be stopped from attaining your goals. You're a goal achieving, fearless warrior and you WILL accomplish anything you set your mind to. Say it over and over again till the fear that tried to sneak in disappears. Then continue on to your success.

Happy New Year!!

I love the beginning of a new year. It's always a chance for a fresh start. My life has changed dramatically since the beginning of last year to the beginning of this year. I'm better off financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I attribute it to my faith in God and my decision to never see problems, only to seek solutions. To look at every mistake as a learning experience. To stop worrying about the things I can't change and leave it to God. To giving more. To listening more. To working harder. To never giving up on the goals I wanted to accomplish. To having confidence in myself. To always being thankful for what I have. To stop focusing on what I don't have and to focusing on what I do want.

It's worked for me so perhaps this year you can also promise yourself to be better off next year by doing the things listed above. It's a new year for you to reinvent your thought process and make the next 365 days the best year of your life.

Go!
